The day after Easter Sunday is known as Easter Monday. As Easter 2019 will be celebrated on April 21 this year, April 22 will be observed as Easter Monday. In the Western Christian liturgical calendar, it is the second day of Eastertide and in the Byzantine Rite, it is the second day of Bright Week. Primarily, Christian groups like Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholics observe the day. Easter Monday is also known as Bright Monday, Renewal Monday, Wet Monday, and Dyngus Day.
